somatic bodywork

The body often remembers what the mind may have forgotten. Bodywork seeks to connect with and release stored, unprocessed emotions, trauma, and stress within the body. By activating the body, we can access and release these deep-seated experiences.

In a bodywork session, I guide individuals on a journey where they are encouraged to be their most authentic and vulnerable selves, exploring their deepest wounds by connecting to their own bodies and what is stored and unprocessed.
During this process, I maintain a safe environment, especially as they navigate between states of alertness and safety. It's crucial to avoid re-traumatization, which can occur if someone moves too quickly or stays too long in an alert state. The goal is not to retraumatize, but to release what is held in the body—such as energy, emotions, stress, and trauma. Through specific breathing techniques, we can activate the body's healing processes. I support you in this journey of activation and release using various methods, including energy work, tapping, different types of touch, massage, shaking, and more.
